AIMS AND SCOPE
The journal International Journal of Business and Sustainable Economics (JBSE) serves as a platform for presenting innovative ideas, approaches, developments, and research projects in the fields of economic development, business, entrepreneurship, and sustainability, with a major focus on developing and transitional economies. The journal facilitates the exchange of information among researchers and industry professionals and addresses multidisciplinary topics that integrate core areas of economics, business, and sustainability, as well as their applications.
The establishment and development of the International Journal of Business and Sustainable Economics (JBSE) follow the international standards of major indexing systems such as Scopus and Web of Science (ESCI). The journal aims to fully meet academic quality criteria, editorial transparency, internationalization requirements, and online accessibility standards, and to be indexed in Scopus/ESCI during 2026–2030 and to progress toward SSCI after 2030.
AUDIENCE
The journal provides a scholarly outlet for experts, academics, researchers, and policy-makers working in economics, economic development, business, entrepreneurship, and sustainability, with a significant focus on developing and transitional economies.

JBSE publishes original research articles and review papers.
OPEN ACCESS POLICY
JBSE is a fully open-access journal that employs a double-anonymized peer-review process and is published both online and in print quarterly. Currently, Ton Duc Thang University generously covers all publication costs; therefore, authors are not required to pay any fees, despite the fully open-access nature of their published articles.
TERMS AND CONDITION
JBSE publishes open-access articles under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License, which permits use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.
